HOW TO MAKE A PAVLOVA!

A colorful and tasty dessert for every holiday, especially Valentine’s DAY!!!
- 6 egg whites
- 1 ½ cups caster sugar
- A pinch cream of tartar (This is the trick!)
- 300 ml thickened cream
- 1 tbsp icing sugar mixture
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Sliced strawberries, kiwis, blueberries and passionfruit
Preheat oven to 120˚C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
With an electric mixer, beat eggwhites until stiff peaks form. Add caster sugar. Beat for 10 minutes. (It’s the only way to get the perfect texture) Add cream of tartar. Beat for 1 minute. Spoon mixture onto circle and using spatula make ‘furrows’ up the sides.
Bake for 1 hour. Turn off oven and allow to cool in oven with door open.
Using electric mixer, beat cream, sugar, and vanilla until peaks form. Place pavlova on serving plate. Top with cream mixture and fruit. Serve.
And amazingly, pavlova has 4.1 grams of protein, which makes this dessert even better!!
