Lightbulb

By Jenna Pearlstein

This painting was a color study that looked at transparencies within a subject. I usually stray away from glass objects because I find them daunting. There are so many intermingling parts and shapes that have to be in the correct location in the right size. I was glad I challenged myself because I ended up being really happy with how the nonlocal color managed to shine through the glossy surface.
