Kenya
By Liza Cohen
This summer, I was granted the opportunity to travel to Kenya. For the first 10 years of my life I had a nanny. Her name was Philomena Musonye. She moved back to Nairobi, and left me a jar of pennies, requesting that I use those pennies to one day buy a ticket to come see her. I wish I could say those pennies went towards this trip 7 years later. But our bond remained unbroken. For three weeks I was transported into another world, unlike any I had ever seen before. Here are some pictures from that world, enjoy.
