Moment in Time

A young mother sits with her son, gazing into the open sea. Her hair blows in the wind in harmony with the drama created by the waves. Amongst the chaos, they sit still, accompanied by each other. To freeze this passing moment of tranquility and connection, I adjusted the image's contrast and saturation of color and white balance to cast a vintage tone over the photo. I wanted to highlight the two figures of the image while portraying the beautiful and rich cyan of the water. The image, although contrasting. It has a softer overlay to communicate the importance and specialty of these moments. Through this image, I hope people can find solace and comfort while reminiscing about instances where they felt such an intimate connection with another person.
