In Photoshop, atop of a base image, I created rectangular selections of my subject’s facial features from different images. I arranged them in alternating left and right directions, creating the illusion of an oscillating head. I emphasized movement using the motion blur filter along the hair’s edge. Editing in Lightroom, I wanted to highlight the warm skin tone and subtly bring out the green shadow, which contrasts with the white background. Overall, I highlighted the captivating eye of the subject amongst a shifting scene.
