Semester 1 Photoshop Art (2)

By Aruna Balasubramanian

2021-2022

When I'm at school, I make digital art on Photoshop, using my trackpad as a brush. I started using this medium roughly in November, and I love it. Using the trackpad creates more constraints than using my iPad or Wacom for drawing, because it's harder to move the brush. However, this is allows me to work on and explore chunkier graphic styles, with thicker line weight, and more emphasis on getting color mixes & strokes right on the first try, and without relying excessively on the Procreate "undo" button. So, my Photoshop art tends to be much more spontaneous than my other, more time-consuming digital artwork.
